The Egyptian Archaeological Database

The EAD includes over 2,000 pre-Islamic sites ranging from small Palaeolithic workstations to huge complexes such as Giza, Saqqara and Thebes. One of the purposes of this database is to serve as a foundation on which plans to protect the sites can be constructed. This is by no means an exhaustive inventory of sites in Egypt and we are asking your help to improve it by providing missing data on the sites we have indexed and sending us data on any new sites you have information on, our contact details are below. Thank you very much.
